Sydney and James were laughing at the accent of my new GPS. It has Austin Powers saying the "turn left, Groovy drivin' Baby" etc. His accent is really strong and Sydney was trying to copy it. James asked her, "Sydney, is that Portuguese?"

James keeps using the third person verb instead of the first. So tranlated this would be "I does it" instead of "I do it". He and Sydney were fighting the other day and she said that he'd hit her. He said that he hadn't, using the incorrect form of the verb. I corrected him, his grammar, but looking back, didn't do a thing about the hitting. You can see where my priorites lie.
Sydney's getting quite good at imitating accents in English. I was doing a theatre gig this weekend and played a Romanian "Aneska". She could say, "May I read your palm? My name is Aneska" with my goofy accent. She loves British accents. They love to watch "Charlie Bit My Finger" on www.youtube.com and imitate the children't English accents. They also repeat after my gps, which uses Mike Myer's Austin Powers character to guide you--- "Turn left, Baby!"
